James "Red" Hamilton is one of the most talented musicians around. As one of the best banjo players, Red is also a founding member of Cumberland Gap Connection, Red also sings Lead and Baritone vocals. James shows his talents as a writer with many of the groups original groups songs. James currently resides in Barbourville Kentucky with his wife Mattie.
