Clint
Hurd is the Mandolinist for Cumberland Gap Connection. At only 21 years of age, Clint is quite the accomplished musician, playing not only the mandolin, but guitar, bass and banjo as well. He has been influenced by many great musicians, including his grandfathers, his dad and brother. He is also a big fan of Bill Monroe, Tony Rice, Sam Bush, Adam Steffey and countless others. Some of the bands Clint has performed with in the past are, Rough Edges, along with the family bands, Dry Valley Grass and Bluegrass Partners. Clint says he hopes to become the very best musician/singer that he can possibly be, and appears to be well ahead of the game. He is a perfect fit for CGC, and will surely be called upon by the band to utilize his talents in every way possible. He says he hopes this band can go far and reach its full potential, while keeping the goal of having fun at the top of the list. Clint currently resides in Eidson, Tennessee.
